Abundance

By definition, ABUNDANCE refers to a state of receiving more than expected. Naturally, a mortal man has expectations that are bound within certain limits according to his capacity. However, God, in His nature, is unlimited since He is the Creator of all things.

Since we are God’s creation, in His love and graciousness, He definitely wants us to live in abundance. This has been true from the beginning, as Adam in the Garden of Eden never lacked. Jesus came so that we might live in a state of ABUNDANCE (John 10:10). This is our portion as believers, and we receive it when we accept Him as our personal Savior and believe in His nature to give abundantly.

Ephesians 3:20 confirms that it is within the character of God to do exceedingly and abundantly; there are no limits to what God can do for you and me. ABUNDANCE is not only in material wealth but also in spiritual blessings. God is concerned about all aspects of our lives. Ephesians 1:3 shows us that we have indeed been blessed with all spiritual blessings.

The Bible is full of multiplication miracles that demonstrate God’s intention to give abundantly. Examples include the feeding of the five thousand (Mark 6:38-44), the feeding of the four thousand (Mark 8:1-9), the feeding of a hundred men (2 Kings 4:42-44), the widow’s oil (2 Kings 4:1-7), and the widow at Zarephath (1 Kings 17:8-17, NIV).

God intends for us to experience ABUNDANCE in all aspects of life. Believe in the God of ABUNDANCE, and you will start to experience His marvelous work in your life.
