(Christ being fully human and fully God)
Jesus Christ was fully (100%) human and also fully (100%) divine; these manifestations were for a reason
and according to the divine set up of God. It is like the mystery of the Trinity: we may never really be able to
understand/explain it. We cannot divide and try to separate Jesus. He was fully God and fully human.
It was important for Jesus to be both “divine and human” for our salvation.
Since man is the one who had sinned, it meant that he had to pay the penalty. The sin was against God, hence only God could bring a sacrifice of infinite value and worthy. Also no sinful man could die for the sins of another man, the sacrifice needed to be perfect and blameless hence only God could provide such a sacrifice.
